Abstract<br /> The term "rajm" in Arabic language means "stoning". This term and its derivatives have been used in Holy Quran fourteen times. The commentators and Quranic scholars have considered the meaning of this term more often in its principal sense and according to the very first meaning, the stoning of adulterers in Islam is legitimate as they believe. However, a closer study of the verses involving the term rajm and its derivatives indicates that the principal sense of the word in those verses is not correct and accurate but in all of the fourteen cases, this term envoys the virtual sense, i.e.: exile, rejection, and violent eviction. The present research aims to prove the virtual sense of this term by analyzing the views of commentators in this field relying on Muhammad Shahrour's view through a descriptive-analytical framework. Based on the results, the term rajm envoys violent eviction from the homeland in all cases except in the Surah al-Kahf where this term envoys the principal sense. Furthermore, the text of Holy Quran does NOT imply rajm in the sense of stoning as the prescribed punishment upon adulterers.<br /> Keywords: Holy Quran, rajm, stoning, exile, Muhammad Shahrour.

Perhaps among the surviving and well-known branches of Islam, the Isma'ilism has shown a more trend to the esoteric interpretation of the Qur'an. The relationship between the two levels of appearance and interior is one of the common beliefs between Sufism and Isma'ilism. They have sought an intimate understanding of the Qur'an and have used interpretation in understanding the jurisprudential verses, in addition to observing the presence of Shari'a. According to Sufism, the science of interpretation is not limited to a particular individual; it is based on the personal experience of individuals and is adopted more in line with Sufi authorities. Whereas in the Isma'ilism branch, interpretation is dedicated to people who are in the invitation hierarchy. Therefore, their descriptions are mostly sectarian and in line with the confirmation of Ismaili beliefs. The present study aimed to extract and explain the commonalities and differences interpretive approaches of Qāḍī Al-Nu' mān Maghribi and Abd al-Razzaq al-Kashani in the connection between jurisprudence and mysticism by examining their jurisprudential interpretations.

Understanding the text and discovering the meaning are the common concerns of Allameh Tabatabai's approach of "Qur'an to the Qur'an interpretation" and Izutsu's "semantic field". The first method, using a traditional approach, defends the understanding and interpretation of Qur'an in the light of other verses, and he second, by means of the "Bon School" considers itself responsible for the semantic discovery of key words in the text of Qur'an. The main idea of this work is to answer to the question how to perform the divine aspects based on Allameh interpretational approach, using Izutsu's "semantic field". In this regard, through analytical-descriptive approach, the present study has chosen a couple of key words from Allameh interpretational works, and has reviewed and recreated them through Izutsu’s model. The findings of the present research show that first: according to the claims of both interpreters, in spite of the linguistic and semantic conflicts in Qur’an text, this divine book is able to talk in its own language and to be its own interpreter. Second, through Allameh’s “interpretational approach”, one can illustrate Qur’an key words chart in Izutsu’s “semantic field” imaginative system. Third, to prove this type of review, one can perform “the divine knowledge”.

The structure and geometry of the surahs of Qur'an have often been explained on the basis of thematic unity, all the verses of a surah are arranged and coherent on a common thematic axis. There are views on what that common axis is. The present study seeks to express the possible view that in most surahs, whether the axis and purpose of that surah is monotheism or resurrection or the situation of believers or disbelievers,. Situations that refer to a sensetive point of human life and the hereafter from which there is no escape. The geometric structure of suras of Mulk and Al-Imran was examined in the same way and it was determined that all the verses of both suras, along with numerous verbal and semantic evidences, seek to explain a boundary situation life; according to the implied verse 10 of Mulk, man will experience a situation in which he will only regret and remorse why he did not listen or apply reason in earth among its innumerable blessings , and according to the implied verse 10 of Al-Imran, man is also possible to experience a time when nothing can be lost from any of his property, children and possessions.

The continuity of verses in Quranic chapters has long been considered by Quranic scholars and scholars of Quranic sciences. The present article studies Surah Saba from this point of view and analyzes the possibility of the continuity of the verses of this Surah based on the communication model of Neal Robinson, which is based on the repetition of words. By determining the sections of the surah, it was found that if only the five sections are examined, only the symmetry relationship between the first and fifth sections in the surah will be visible, but if the sections are divided into several subsections based on semantic relationship, the inverse order between the subsection sections shows itself. will give. The first part of the first part and the last part of the last part, ie the initial and final verses of the surah, are also used as the opening and closing signs of the surah.<br /> From the relationship of reverse order in Surah Saba, it is possible to determine the relationship between the province and the resurrection.

Abstract<br /> <br /> Regarding the fact that quite a few quranic messages have‌ been expressed implicitly, present study is an attempt to investigate the orientational metaphor denoted by the term Hayat in Quran based on the conceptual metaphor theory. In doing so, translated version of Makarem, Almizan and Nemuneh interpretations of Quran were used for gathering the data. The data were then analyzed. Regarding the orientational metaphors of the term Hayat, those of up, down and near were obtained but the orientational metaphor of far has not been used. The orientational metaphor of up demonstrated the concepts such as: good and blessing, and these attributed to God, where as the orientational metaphors of down demonstrated the concepts such as: weakness, abjectness, torment and disgrace. The orientational metaphor of near has been expressed with demonstrative noun Hazehi that collocated with Hayat: It is observed in some verses that demonstrate the meanness of this world, the insistency on this and the effects and outcome of our actions in this world. This study shows the efficiency of modern theory of metaphor in analyzing the language of Quran that leads to a better understanding, translation and interpretation of quranic concepts.
