The Holy Quran has been full of peaceful and loving teachings and the religion of Islam since the beginning of the proclamation of peace and mercy for all human beings.God Almighty is mentioned throughout the Qur'an and the beginning of each chapter with the attributes of mercy and compassion, and respect for human dignity and cultural diversity, peaceful coexistence, and encouragement for cooperation, all-encompassing, and peaceful human relations among the most frequent teachings of this divine book. These teachings have apparently been interpreted differently in different historical periods and under different political conditions, and the interpreter's assumptions have played a significant role in his understanding of the verses.
This article specifically; He has studied the subject of peace, freedom of opinion, and freedom of expression, which are manifestations of tolerance in Qur'anic teachings, in various interpretations in a descriptive-analytical manner.
A study of the historical evolution of the views of the commentators under the selected verses, which seem to contain tolerant and peaceful teachings, shows that contemporary commentators have paid more attention to the concepts of peace, freedom, tolerance, dialogue and interaction than their predecessors.
