Abstract
The coherence of the Qur'an is one of the most important topics among commentators on the sciences of the Qur'an and expresses the possible connections between Qur'anic subjects in various forms.Amina Ahsan Aslahi, a Pakistani Quran researcher, has proposed the theory of the system of pairs of suras and has determined the smallest unit of Quranic order as the surahEach surah has a central theme (vertical) around which the whole surah revolves. The purpose of this study is to study and analyze the theory of Qur'an coherence of Amina Ehsan Islahi with a critical approach. The results of the research show that Amina Ehsana Aslahi has expressed the order of the Qur'an in three parts (vertical of the surah, even couple, group of the surah). Also, in spite of all the advantages and benefits of reform theory, some of the positions and results of their discussions are questionable. In fact, what he has proposed is nothing more than hypotheses. In addition, the order of the Qur'an in surahs, pairs of surahs, and groups of surahs is not very precise, or at least in some cases it is doubtful.
