Abstract
Translation of holy texts, especially the Holy Quran, is one of the propaganda necessities of Islam. Attention to the trans-temporal and trans-spatial mission of the Qur'an has led many scholars throughout the history of Islam to translate the Qur'an. Among them is the accuracy in translating the morpheme "other" in the Holy Qur'an. Now the question is, what exactly does the adjective "non" descriptive mean? Descriptive-analytical evaluation and critique of examples of popular contemporary translations of the word "other", and finally the introduction of the proposed translation, suggest that due to the inherent ambiguity of the name, it should be constantly added to the meaning. Hence, "other" either means an adjective or is in the position of exception. The comparison of the accuracy of translators in recognizing the nature of the word "other" is significant in some verses, and in some positions requires revision of the translation. nature of the word "other" is significant in some verses, and in some positions requires revision of the translation.
