Abstract
Abstract and summary: One of the ways of applying the verses of the Holy Quran is to read and explain them in such a way that the contemporary man can find himself the audience of the verses of the Quran and feel that the Quran can be the cure for his current pains. Existentialism, as a human-centered school, has the capacity to look at the verses of the Quran from its perspective and provide a suitable platform for re-reading the verses of the Quran with an existential approach. In the present article, the verses of the Holy Quran have been read and explained in a descriptive-analytical way, focusing on the existential themes of individuality, authority and border situations. With the aim of showing how the message of the Quran can be made more audible and attractive to its audience by changing the perspective and posing new questions to the Holy Quran. The themes raised in existentialism and the Qur'an have a close relationship with each other due to the intertwining of human existence, and the verses selected in this research, which are examined from an existential approach, have not been interpreted and explained from such a perspective.
