Abstract
Pharaoh acted according to a pattern in his confrontation with Moses (pbuh). The present article tries to draw the stated pattern by the method of content analysis and also to explain the types and frequency of Pharaoh's confrontation against Moses (PBUH) based on the Holy Qur'an. In this regard, during two stages: before the appearance of Moses (pbuh) and after his appearance, Pharaoh used unconventional military, economic, political, cultural and propaganda confrontations to lead the Israelites. In the first stage, Pharaoh's greatest focus was on military (38%) and economic (31%) war. Propaganda war (48%) and military war (29%) were the most common types of exposure in the second stage. In the first stage, by creating division in the society, Pharaoh engaged the children of Israel with the Copts and made him king, but after the appearance of Moses (pbuh), he also confronted and at first benefited from a weak propaganda confrontation, but seeing the resistance Musa (pbuh) used combined warfare but did not win. Then, the pharaoh along with his troops turned to a severe military confrontation, in which he was killed.
