چکیده

«ص ـ د ـ ق» از کهن ‏ترین ریشه ‏های ثلاثی در زبان ‏های سامی است که مشتقّات آن، 155 بار در قرآن کریم به کار رفته است. از جمله مشتقّاتِ این ریشه، واژه ‏های «صَدَقَه» و «صَدُقَه» است که اولی واژه ‏ای آشنا در فرهنگ اسلامی است که 13 بار در آیات قرآنی به کار رفته و دومی واژه ‏ای تکامد به معنای مهریه است که در آیه 4 سوره نساء دیده می ‏شود. مطالعه حاضر در صدد است برای نخستین بار با کاربست رویکرد ریشه ‏شناسی، قدیم ‏ترین و اصیل‏ ترین معنای این مفردات قرآنی را در قالب یک مطالعه تطبیقی در زبان ‏های سامی به دست آورد و مؤلفه‏ های معنایی آن دو را در قرآن کریم بازشناسد. این مطالعه اثبات می ‏کند که براساس داده ‏های ریشه‏ شناختی، اصلی ‏ترین مؤلفه‏ های معناییِ این واژه ‏های قرآنی، «عدالت» و «حق» است. به این ترتیب، در مقاله حاضر نشان داده می ‏شود که برخلاف تصور رایج، واژه صِدق نیز در کنار واژه ‏های قِسط و عَدل، در عداد واحدهای تشکیل‏ دهنده ‏ی حوزه معنایی عدالت در قرآن کریم جای می‏ گیرد.

The Etymology of Qur'anic Words "Ṣadaqah" and "Ṣaduqah"; Retrieving a Neglected Unit from the Semantic Field of Justice in the Holy Qur'an

چکیده [English]

"Ṣ-D-Q", one of the oldest triconsonantal roots in Semitic languages, is used 155 times in the Holy Qur'an. The words "Ṣadaqah" and "Ṣaduqah" are derivatives of the above-mentioned root. While the former is a familiar word in Islamic culture, used 13 times in Qur'anic verses, the latter is a hapax legomenon in the Holy Qur'an which means bride-wealth. Taking etymological approach, this research aims for the first time to discover the oldest meaning of those two Qur'anic words within the framework of comparative study of Semitic languages. Moreover, this research aims to identify the semantic components of those Qur'anic words. According to etymological data, this study proves that the main semantic components of Qur'anic words "Ṣadaqah" and "Ṣaduqah" are justice and right. Thus, the present article shows that, contrary to the common perception, the word "Ṣidq" alongside "Qisṭ" and "ˁadl" is among the units constituting the semantic field of justice in the Holy Qur'an.
